I just spent 2 hours last night getting introduced to a potential new online marketplace for artisans. It was good to be involved in an IT project, seeing where the developers were with the effort, asking questions about current functionality and also about possible features. I think the lead of the team valued my input.
Anyway, as part of possibly being in that marketplace, they want some process photos. Which, they just want to see that the item is actually involves my hands on the parts. So, by way of doing that, figured I could give you all a bit of view.
The first photo is my inventory control for my clam shell mitt – the advantage of SKUs is that I have them grouped within each collection – I cut the medium size already to be ready to assemble and have some of the fabric with it for the small or large size.
The second photo is in an in process of the clam shell mitt. I am about to sew the binding edge.
The third image is a convertable shoulder bag/backpack with most of the parts already cut. I still need to cut a few more of the parts.
The last is the variety of internal stabilizers that I need to use with the various purses and wallets.
